Community Guidelines

Maintain a collaborative tone in your messages. Discussions are meant to stimulate conversation, not create contention.

Exercise caution when posting messages, considering potential legal implications.

Refrain from posting commercial messages. Directly contact individuals for product or service information.

Strictly avoid defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal content.

There is a zero tolerance policy for language that is discriminatory.

Take note of the disclaimer and legal rules below, especially concerning copyright ownership.

Listserv Etiquette

There is no tolerance for defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive or

illegal content in messages.

Messages subject to libel, slander, and antitrust laws.

Approach messages with a collaborative tone to foster connection and community.

Include a signature with your name, credentials, location, phone number, website, and email.

Clearly state the topic in the subject line for easy reference.

Send reply messages directly to the sender unless requested.

Agreements

Membership is granted to licensed Mental Health Professionals in Washington.

Annual subscription fees apply.

Advertising

Allowed advertising includes introductions, office rentals, therapeutic groups,

legislative updates, training opportunities, consultation and supervision, as well as retreats.

Client Referrals

Share client referrals with no PHI or identifying information.

Do not forward client emails to the listserv.

Information Sharing

Maintain professional language in all communications.

Any inappropriate language will be flagged by administrators.

Anti-trust laws prohibit certain discussions, including provider rates and negotiations.

Indemnification

Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless the listserv, its owner, and affiliates for any breaches of guidelines.

These guidelines ensure a respectful and constructive community. Your adherence contributes to a positive and supportive environment.
